The Complete Diagnostic Picture
Four Clinical Tests. One Complete Map
of Everything Disrupting Your Gut.
of Everything Disrupting Your Gut.
The Explore Tier Complete Package brings together four distinct tests: Orobiome for your oral microbiome, KBMO FIT176 for food sensitivities, the separate Gut Barrier Permeability Panel for zonulin, occludin, LPS, and Candida immune-response markers, and GI-MAP for your gut microbiome. Food reactions, gut-barrier signals, oral health, and gut microbes are different questions—this package helps you explore all four. Our doctors order these clinical-grade tests for you as part of your package—no separate doctor's appointment just to obtain the testing orders.
What's Included
Four Tests. Four Different Questions.
-
🦷Test 1 of 4Orobiome Oral Microbiome TestMost gut health programs ignore the mouth entirely. That's a critical mistake. Your oral microbiome is the upstream gateway to your entire digestive system — dysbiosis in the mouth directly seeds the gut with pathogenic bacteria and drives systemic inflammation. The Orobiome test maps your oral bacterial ecosystem with clinical precision, identifying imbalances that most practitioners never test for.
- Pathogenic oral bacteria linked to gut dysbiosis, heart disease, and systemic inflammation
- Beneficial oral strains and whether your protective microbiome is intact
- Oral permeability markers indicating gum tissue compromise
- Targeted interventions specific to your oral microbiome profile
-
🧬Test 2 of 4KBMO Fit 176 Food Sensitivity PanelThe Fit 22 tests 22 foods. The Fit 176 tests 176 — including the most common foods, additives, colorings, and preservatives in the modern diet. This panel assesses immune reactivity to foods and additives, giving you and your care team a broader starting point for discussing food-related patterns. Food-sensitivity testing is different from an IgE allergy test and does not diagnose a food allergy. Our doctors order this clinical-grade panel for you as part of your Explore package.
- Immune reactivity to 176 foods, additives, and food chemicals
- Severity ranking — which foods are driving the most immune activation
- Food-specific reactivity patterns to review with your care team
- Cross-reactivity patterns that explain why elimination diets often fail
-
🛡️Test 3 of 4Gut Barrier Permeability PanelFood sensitivity is one question. The condition of your gut barrier is another. This separate KBMO panel measures immune responses involving four gut-barrier markers: zonulin, occludin, lipopolysaccharides (LPS), and Candida. It adds another layer of information alongside your food-sensitivity results, helping your care team interpret possible gut-barrier concerns in the context of your health history.
- Zonulin: an immune-response marker related to the regulation of intestinal tight junctions and permeability
- Occludin: an immune-response marker involving a protein that helps maintain intestinal tight junctions
- LPS: immune reactivity to lipopolysaccharides, components of certain bacteria
- Candida: immune reactivity involving Candida, interpreted alongside your other findings
This is a distinct test—not merely another food on the sensitivity panel. It is included with the $399 FIT22 package and remains included with Explore's FIT176 panel. These are immune-response markers, not a direct count of Candida organisms or a diagnosis by themselves; results need professional interpretation.Separate test. Included with KBMO—no additional charge. -
🔬Test 4 of 4GI MAP — Deep Gut Microbiome AnalysisThe GI MAP (Gastrointestinal Microbial Assay Plus) is the gold standard in functional gut testing. Using quantitative PCR technology, it identifies and measures the DNA of every significant microorganism in your gut — bacteria, viruses, parasites, fungi, and opportunistic pathogens — with a level of precision that standard stool cultures cannot approach. This is the test that changes everything.
- Pathogenic bacteria including H. pylori, C. difficile, E. coli, Salmonella, and more
- Parasites and worms — including subclinical infections that cause chronic symptoms
- Gut microbiome diversity and keystone species balance
- Intestinal health markers: secretory IgA, beta-glucuronidase, short-chain fatty acid producers
- Fungal overgrowth including Candida species

What Customers Are Saying
"The GI MAP found a parasite my gastroenterologist had missed for three years. Three years of unexplained symptoms — solved in one test. I can't overstate how much this changed my life."
Patricia L.
Explore Tier Customer, Atlanta GA
"I went from 22 foods tested to 176. The difference was enormous — I discovered I was reacting to 14 foods I never would have suspected, including several I was eating specifically because I thought they were 'gut healthy.'"
Michael B.
Explore Tier Customer, Portland OR
"The oral microbiome test was the piece I didn't know I was missing. My oral dysbiosis was directly connected to my gut symptoms. No one had ever tested this before. Game-changing."
Sandra K.
Explore Tier Customer, Minneapolis MN
"Worth every dollar. I've spent more than this on supplements that did nothing because I didn't know what was actually wrong. Now I know. Now I can fix it. This is the most important health investment I've made."

Common Questions
Why do you call this four tests if the Gut Barrier Panel comes with KBMO?
Because they answer different questions. FIT176 measures food-sensitivity responses; the Gut Barrier Permeability Panel assesses immune responses involving zonulin, occludin, LPS, and Candida. KBMO includes the barrier panel with both FIT22 and FIT176, but it remains a distinct test. Add Orobiome and GI-MAP, and Explore includes four test components. The food panel's FIT22-to-FIT176 upgrade is not counted as a fifth test, and the barrier panel is not billed twice.
Do I need to arrange my own doctor's order?
Our doctors order these clinical-grade tests for you as part of the Explore package. You do not need to book and pay for separate doctor's visits just to obtain the testing orders. Depending on what those visits would cost, this may save you a few hundred dollars in appointment fees. Actual savings vary by provider and insurance coverage. Keep your own physician for ongoing medical care.
How are the samples collected?
Four tests use three types of at-home sample collection. Orobiome uses a saliva sample. The FIT176 food-sensitivity and Gut Barrier Permeability panels use KBMO finger-prick blood collection. GI-MAP uses a stool sample collection kit. Follow the instructions in each kit for collection and return; collection materials and prepaid return envelopes are included.
How long until I receive all my results?
Results timelines vary by laboratory. KBMO FIT176 and the included Gut Barrier Panel typically return results within 5–7 business days after the lab receives your sample. The GI MAP and Orobiome results typically arrive within 10–14 business days of the lab receiving your sample. You'll receive email notifications for each result as it becomes available.
Will I receive help interpreting my results?
Yes. The Explore Tier Complete Package includes a comprehensive results consultation with a certified health coach who specializes in functional gut health. They'll walk through all four test components with you, prioritize your interventions, and build a personalized protocol based on the complete picture your tests reveal.
